You may opt to insure your orders with ShipBlu against loss or damage according to your preferred ShipBlu Shield plan. Any insurance plan you opt for will be implemented on all your orders.
In case you choose to insure your orders, you will be charged for the coverage fees on each order invoice, as per your selected plan. In the case of established loss or damage of a certain order, ShipBlu will compensate you as per your selected plan, and up to the compensation limit value corresponding to your plan.
By default, you will have no Shield plan activated on your account, In case you want to use our service, you can select one of the below Shield plans

ShipBlu will charge you 0.5% premium fees from the COD amount or the declared order value, on the corresponding order shipping fees invoice . In the case of loss or damage, ShipBlu will be bound to compensate you with 50% of the order COD or the declared order value up to 5,000 EGP or declared value, whichever is lower.

ShipBlu will charge you 0.75% premium fees from the COD amount or the declared order value, on the corresponding order shipping fees invoice.In the case of loss or damage, ShipBlu will be bound to compensate you with 75% of the order COD or declared order value up to 7,500 EGP or declared value, whichever is lower.

ShipBlu will charge you 1% premium fees from the COD amount or the declared order value, on the corresponding order shipping fees invoice. In the case of loss or damage, ShipBlu will be bound to compensate you with 100% of the order COD or declared order value up to 10,000 EGP or declared value, whichever is lower.

You opt not to insure your orders, and in this case, in the occurrence of loss or damage, ShipBlu will compensate you with 500EGP per order or the order declared value, whichever is lower.
*The plan charges will be applied on the order declared value if it was added.
